Encanta Counselling and Wellness is a sex positive, queer affirming, and trauma focused private practice in Ontario providing individual and couples/relationship therapy in Cambridge, ON and virtually across Ontario.

What You’ll Do
- Provide trauma-informed and sex positive virtual and in-person therapy sessions to individuals and couples.
- Respond to client inquiries (i.e., initial appointment/consultation) in a timely manner.
- Complete required documentation such as chart notes and third-party requests (i.e. insurance providers) within 48 hours of sessions.
- Communicate with the owner/operator about scheduling, caseload updates and/or potential development interests (i.e. preferred clients, desired continuing education).
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) OR with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW).
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Active and adequate liability insurance in Ontario.
- Availability for a minimum of 10 client facing hours per week.
- Experience using Jane or similar clinic/practice management software.
- Knowledge, understanding and experience with Trauma-Informed therapy and other therapy modalities.
- Interest and/or experience in working with couples, and in Sex Therapy.
- Accepting, approachable, observant and ethical demeanor towards their clients.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to professional growth.
- Lived experience as, or extensive experience working with, underrepresented individuals, including women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, racialized individuals, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

What You’ll Do
- Respond to client inquiries (i.e., initial appointment/consultation) in a timely manner.
- Provide virtual and telephone intakes.
- Interact with therapists via email in a timely manner.
- Administrative tasks associated with business operations.
- Communicate with the owner/operator about scheduling, and client concerns.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Availability for a minimum of 3 volunteering hours per week.
- Strong administrative abilities.
- Open and non-judgmental attitude to taboo topics.
- Accepting, approachable, observant and ethical demeanor towards clients.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to professional growth.
- A baseline knowledge in alternative relationship structures, trauma and sex.
- Lived experience as, or extensive experience working with, underrepresented individuals, including women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, racialized individuals, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
