Encanta Counselling & Wellness is seeking a registered psychotherapist or social worker who wants to build a caseload around sex, trauma, and relationships in a practice that already speaks that language.
This role suits clinicians who are curious, collaborative, and comfortable sitting with the conversations other practices tiptoe around. You want somewhere that trusts you to run your work your way, sends you referrals, and has your back when a session goes somewhere tender.
Note: we’re a small team, so fit matters here as much as credentials. If your practice is already sex positive, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and queer-affirming, keep reading.

- Sex positive and queer-affirming in practice, not just on paper
- Curious about desire, pleasure, kink, and the ways trauma shows up in relationships
- Ethical, observant, and accepting with your clients
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
- Committed to your own growth, with a passion for this work
- Bringing lived experience as, or extensive experience working with, underrepresented individuals, including women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, racialized individuals, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
Training & Education
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Sex Therapy, Couples Therapy, or EMDR training are strong assets
Key Skills
- Solid clinical foundation in trauma-informed therapy and other modalities
- Interest or experience in couples work and sex therapy
- Warm, clear communicator with clients and colleagues

- Active and adequate liability insurance in Ontario
- Minimum 10 in-person hours at our Cambridge office, with the rest virtual
