Encanta Counselling and Wellness is a sex positive, queer-affirming, and trauma-focused private practice based in Cambridge, Ontario, offering individual, couples and relationship therapy in person and virtually across the province.
We’re guided by a handful of things we won’t compromise on: sex positivity, trauma-informed care, anti-oppressive therapy, and queer-affirming work. We show up authentic and approachable, with our clients and with each other. If those words describe how you already practice, you’ll feel at home here.

Available Positions
Psychotherapist (Independent Contractor)
- A contractor role at a sex positive, queer-affirming private practice
- Hybrid setup, with in-person sessions at our Cambridge office along with virtual sessions
- Minimum 10 client-facing hours per week, on a schedule you build
- Monthly sex therapy group consultation plus optional yearly training
- A team that talks openly about desire, kink, queerness, and pleasure

Michelle Good wrote, “We don’t heal in isolation. We heal by remembering together, by sharing our pain and helping each other carry it.” That’s true for clients, and it’s true for clinicians. You’ll have peer support via email, phone, text, and team meetings, plus monthly peer consultations with people who get what this work asks of you.
Grow in the areas you care about
We offer optional yearly sex therapy-related training and monthly sex therapy group consultation. This work is niche, and you shouldn’t have to piece it together on your own. We’d rather you go deep with people who are doing the same.
We offer freedom that you’ll really feel
Set your schedule, your rates, and your client focus. Sixty percent of your fee stays with you, and there’s no non-compete clause, so your career stays yours.
We handle the logistics
Company email, Jane booking software, and our therapeutic resource library are all yours. Marketing and advertising come from us, and so do the referrals.
Work in a space that feels good
Come use our cozy Cambridge office when you want it, and work from your couch the rest of the time.
